Proposals for The Humanist Association of Ireland web site
1. Get board members to sign in and get their username and password sorted.
2. Administrators ( 3 ) to be established
4. Monitor usage by board
5. Initially load current web site pages/topics etc onto new system. Everyone can see familiar material and get comfortable with the way everything works
6. New material / pages /topics can be added as they are created and approved

On a related subject the Association needs to get all its computer data online (the l CLOUD) and not kept on Directors personal computers

- Board minutes. Perhaps in a précis form that details the decisions made without the minutia??
- Campaign page to get the public to contact TD’s and local government
- Ceremonies
- Chaplaincy
- Committees and their tasks
- Community Humanism
- Contact email and phone numbers for ceremonies chaplaincy and membership
- Contact us email (to web administrator only) for onward distribution.
- Culture Corner for Books, films and best of the web.
- Directors and all HAI members will submit to the web administrator or deputy all news /articles.
- Ditto for Ceremonies / Chaplaincy /membership or answering service
- Donations. Bequests
- Each committee to summarise their Forum discussion before the board meeting
- Email facility for info / elected officials / Press office / membership
- Events
- Link to the HAI facebook, twitter and you tube accounts.
- Family Resources section – see Cork Humanists
- Famous Humanists
- Find a local group in your area
- Forum
- Use the forum as the place for committees to communicate on their specialist task without involving all the other board members each time. Obviously all directors can access all or any of these committees. The virtue of this is that it will cut down the number of emails sent/received to all the directors
- Use the forum as the place to develop discussion topics
- (Face to Face discussion of forum issues for the period will be at board meetings. In principle these board report will be presenting either interim reports or final conclusion for the board to vote on. Much more business will be conducted this way)
- HAI members forum will be separate from directors forum and will work insimilar way to directors private except that the web administrator can delete /stop /moderate the content
- Front page agenda box automatically updated by calendar driven software

- Library with suggested reading materials. Sale of printed HAI literature/books. Promotion of Hi magazine. File format to enable local printing of articles/leaflets
